It rocks! Been there several times day and evening, even at 2:00 AM the parking lot was jumpin. Dudes walking in the dark on the beach looking for action. Police drive in to the lot and drive right out never seen them go into the dunes or check in the cars.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:When you drive in turn right for straight dudes sitting in cars looking for head or turn left for gay and bi dudes in cars and walking around. Follow the trails through the dune. Lots of BJ and JO going on all in the bushes.
    Cruisiest Spots: Dunes and the parking lot.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:VERY DANGEROUS! August 2002 cops announced aggressive action against all cruising.

  • Went there yesterday around 5PM.. I saw some action (I wasn't the recipient- too many trolls on that day), but there was also a few str8 hikers, a few drug addicts, and a lot of waterfowl in the supposed cruising area.

    It might be good if you know who you're going to meet there, but be careful!

    Also, the parking lot closes at 9PM (unlike similar lots on the Belt near Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst). The only way in past that time would be to hike a mile east from the bike trail at Emmons and Knapp.

  • spring 2009, these warm days have been HOT there again!!! But getting out of your car and walking a bit is key to the real hot fun! Young guys who don't want anyone to know they are gay/bi or str8/bi-curious are back cruising for fun and finding it there again, trust me i know, -had a great few afternoons and early evening there these past few warm beautiful days.

  • Hey Guys - use dto go to this place years back many times. I am a big heavy guy - used to drive a teal colored Ford van back then. met a real nice big heavy guy there - said his name was Frank - lost contact and would really like to find him again. back then he also had a teal colored GM van, last I knew he had a Bluish Ford Expedition and he waqs also going to Staten Island - but havnt been able to see him anywhere in a few years now. he was italian, big, heavy, balding, and had a big moustache. We even went to the Windjammer one time too. Would love to talk to him again. if you know him, or if you should read this Frank - please let me know. Thanks - Greg
