Using the Gulf Road entrance to the park, the cruisy parking lot will be on your right. Guys connect and take it into the woods if they want privacy.

From the Norwich area: take Route 2 west, Exit 18. Follow Route 16 west for 6.2 miles; turn left into the recreation area. From the New London area: follow Route 11 north onto Route 2 west, Exit 18. Follow Route 16 west for 6.2 miles. Turn left into the recreation area. From the Middletown area: follow Route 66 east onto Route 16. Follow Route 16 east for 5.5 miles. Turn right into recreation area. From the Hartford area: take Route 2 east, Exit 16. Follow Route 149 south for 3.2 miles. Turn right onto Route 16 west. Follow Route 16 west for 1.9 miles. Turn left into the recreation area.

  • Had some fun here today, but I wouldn't think this would be a great place to go. There is a lot of traffic through the park (families and I think there is a spring where people fill up water jugs?) I won't say that I wouldn't come back, but it seems far too family oriented.

  • went in the afternoon of 7/7/08 a few cars around but not many parked in the large parking lot and took a walk down by the river
    jusst a family in the water. one guy fishing . no luck this time but will go back again to see if it might happen let me know if u r going or might want to meet up there its a nice place with lots of wooded areas to play thanks

  • Hung out for a while in the late a.m. yesterday to ease my curiosity, looked like some cruising going on, but I was not sure. My first time there. I returned around 3 p.m., got lucky, went for a walk in the woods with another cruiser and received a great BJ..... I'll be back......
