cruiser update 3/26/2009; this place is open 24/7, only close on thanksgiving day and christmas day-this place is very clean-there are 4 theaters, 2 str8, 1 tran-bi, 1 big screen gay and a dim bonus room behind the gay theater. its off the beaten path and get all kinds clientele-most of which are married men.
plus it has a nice big lounge for conversation and cable tv very nice.
Crowd: All ages attend.

Cross street: Business Loop 70 east

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:You dont have to do much of anything there are always guys coming in and going. If you are there they know you are interested.
    Cruisiest Spots: New areas, moved out of old blue blg to next door.They have 3 theatres. All 3 a good but number 3 is the best. Go past the first around the corner and enter room 2 walk thru it and into the third.

  • Warnings:They have the air conditioning way to cold for my liking. Sometimes it's too cold to get totally naked but I try.

  • Anybody heading to Venus Friday late afternoon ... 4:00-5:00ish?? Haven't been to this club yet, but I'm intrigued by thought of the 3rd theater and the maze.... can anyone shed any insight into how active this part of the theater might be?

  • Actually they now have 4 theaters. Two usually showing straight movies, one usually showing TS/TV or bi, and the largest theater shows gay flicks. The darkroom or 'maze' area is behind the gay theater. Not real large but fun nonetheless. It's pretty active with all types but of course like most theaters the largest share of guys are older.

  • Attention all goodlooking younger guys.. Lets all meet here on Thursday the 30th of October.. I am going to back in town for the night, and if the right guy, and I hit it off we can go play at my motel room. Should be there around 4 or 5pm. Not sure what I will be wearing, but im 6ft 175lbs 33w strawberryblonde blue eyes. Will probably not be back on this site before then so everyone who is ready to have some fun plan on meeting in the theater...

  • Thanks for the better directions. Went there today after not finding it on a previous visit. This is more than a theater and arcade -- way more. Lots of interesting features and a man behind every turn. One of the best spots in the Midwest, if not the country. Obviously, I had a very hot time. Not a lot of young meat for a college town, but there was a wide variety of eager players.

  • From Business Loop 70 and Rangeline Rd, go East on BL70 about 3/4 of a mile. You'll go under an underpass and come to the intersection of Old Highway 63. Turn South on Old Hwy 63 and Venus will be on your left, about an eighth of a mile down the road.

    You can also access the place from Broadway. Old Hwy 63 intersects East Broadway just east of Boone Hospital. Go north from there past the country club and Venus is on your right.
