Is This Your Business?

This is a state park pull-off of sorts with no facilities. There are paths that head off from the parking lot in both easterly and westerly directions with lots of wooded cover. There's a steep grade down to the river, but most guys stay at the top level/area.
Crowd: You name it! Young, old, marrieds, lots of straight guys. The clientele runs the gamut.

Neighbourhood: Erving Twp.

Who's Coming

You name it! Young, old, marrieds, lots of straight guys. The clientele runs the gamut.

West end of Erving Twp. about 4-5 mi. east of the Turners Falls/Gill traffic light and east of the French King Bridge.
  • Crowd:You name it! Young, old, marrieds, lots of straight guys. The clientele runs the gamut.
  • Hours:The posted sign (with the purposely confusing "Closed" language) says it closes at 8 pm.
Best times: All daylight hours offer some possibilities.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:If a guy wanders into the woods (without fishing gear), you've found a live one. There appears to be practically no "attitude" among the visitors.
Cruisiest Spots: 8-10 parking spaces face south, toward the river. If someone isn't there specifically for fishing, they're there to cruise. You'll be able to tell as they saunter into the woods.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Unless an angler, everyone is there for the same reason. Occasional truckers join in the fun as well. With no facilities, you can always use "I had to take a leak" when foraging in the woods. When winter hits, forget it; the state does not plow out the parking lot. This is strictly a warm weather locale.
Warnings: The state troopers pull through occasionally. However, there seems to be a cast of area "regulars" who've obviously never been scared off.

  • A great space with lots of potential but not much in the way of guys. Was there today. The few there were older, and one significantly older who had trouble walking. He kept staring at me grabbing and exposing himself. I felt bad, but please. I drive by often, would be great to see more guys there.

  • This place has been pretty lame. What's the deal, it's an ideal spot for anonymous fun and yet there aren't many guys taking advantage of it. It would be nice to have men under 65 show up and more willing truckers not just the guy who takes a nap.

    LAST time I'll ask.

Any bearish/blue collar men going today?

  • Hey guys,

  • I was there the other day around 11am. I walked down the slope to take a leak, but didn't see anyone there. A red pick up drove in, but by the time I got back up to the lot, the person was out of the truck...somewhere. This looks like a great place to play.
