Since 2005 the new owner has made several improvements to the campground and continues to do so. Besides sites for RV's, travel trailers and primitive tents, other over night accommodations are available. Email or call for more information. Check web site for theme weekends. From the front desk to other members, everyone is very friendly. The entire campground is clothing optional. Less than an hour from Ocala, or about one hour from either Tampa or Orlando. Gate opens at 9:am.

From I - 75 Exit # 329 (Old# 66) and go West on State Road 44 (approximately 9 miles), cross river and proceed to Boy Scout Road, turn left (South) and follow Camp David signs.

From U.S. 41 Go East on State Road 44 to Boy Scout Road (approximately 6 miles), turn right (South) and follow Camp David signs.

  • I believe that with residents who live there and overnight guests there has to be things going on at night.
    Basic hours for day are 9 am - 7 pm office closes at 5. There are rv, tent and bunk room camping available check in 2 and check out 11.

  • the glory hole is in the video room and is shared with the room on otherside of wall, where people bring sleeping bags and stay overnight.

    heard there is a 2nd walking / nature trail as well with actiion
