  • July 7th 12:40pm Indy//

It's July 4th weekend and everyplace is crowded with families. Yesterday, I visited the Griffy Lake & Nature Preserve (very nice) in the Bloomington area. I walked the trail shooting pictures but it was very quiet (only one trail runner and a couple walking). As far as I could determine there were no branches off the trail to secluded areas to have some private fun. It also looked like renting a canoe and finding a secluded area would be a better option.

I arrived at Pendelton (FallsPark) around 7:30pm and it is a lovely park and the falls really lend themselves to some (digital/film) photography. But it was just way tooooo busy. The wooded areas are past the baseball fields and did look inviting but I was unsure of the patterns. A great weekend for families but not what I was looking for. (46 bi-mwm/ 54/ 150 w/ glasses)
