A171

Thanks to a helpful cruiser 5/15/2009: Coming from guisbrough about 1.5 miles past top of birk brow the layby is on the right....i find it easier to look out for the far end cos it has 2 black and red posts marking it and turn in there.
coming from whitby side just past the Moorsholm turn off(about 3-400 yards) look out for the same posts on the left.

previous comment: off the A171 about 1.5 mile from lingdale turn off. towards whitby. turn right, down the old road.
