Coast Road towards Goring by Sea
cruiser update 3/6/2008: This location and Goring Gap Plantation facilities are not perm shut although with the proposed redevelopement of the yacht club, which as now gained council planning approval, it could become a reality fairly soon.At the moment it is just the winter season closure until 01st April. Add to this, the spilt timber from the Dorset cargo ship, which is strewn all along the Worthing and Goring foreshore, most of the area around the yacht club is fenced off and no access to the sea facing side of the beach huts.
At Goring Gap, the local do-gooders rag, has and I quote "the lewd behaviour" firmly in its sights again, with requests for the local Mrs Ponsoby-Smithes to report any suspicious behaviour in and around the area, plus the problems of boy racers and rubbish dumping in and around the fields, the arrival of the gates, will I am sure, become a reality very soon. Regretably Worthing and these areas are no longer the free and fun places of past years, but as always, Queens will survive and nodoubt find the other means of access, to the woods, further up Aldsworth Avenue, between the houses
previous comment: It's good for s but Council keep trying to close them up! Very cruisy, especially in good weather - -usually always someone about -- popular with windsurfers.
Crowd: All types!
