Jackson Park

It's much better in the spring and summer, although you can find some action during the winter. The front lot on 63rd right off Cornell is mainly used by young gay guys who just want to hang out. If you park and walk to the back of the lot, across the grass and over the bridge, you can walk down the trails and find action sometimes but be careful, it's not what it used to be, some guys are not as nice and the police do frequent there a lot more than they used to. If you continue driving east on 63rd, make a left at the statue, cross the bridge and you will see two lots. The one on the left with the basketball court is bigger and has some area in the back also. As someone commented, you drive up beside someone, catch a glimpse and see what's going on. I wouldn't suggest driving around from car to car, makes you look desperate. Take your cue from the guy in the other car. If he's interested, he will let you know. Some guys don't like to come out and say what they want to do, try to flow. The park closes at 11pm and then sometimes cops bring the heat so be careful if you're out there after 11pm. Hustlers have been known to walk up to cars in all three of the lots so don't get nervous.

not what is as nice of place of years past. lots and lots of boys trying to make money. those who are not are living in the area of southshore and hyde park. police are cracking down, not just for the cruising but for the drugs in the area and complaints by the all boys school and the university of chicago.

Hey guys, Due to a recent article about bird watching and cruising in the Chicago Tribune, there may be a heightened police presence at this location. Please keep this in mind as it may bring unwanted attention from local citizens and police. Take care of yourselves and each other while you're out there. Keep each other informed, and keep cruisein!
