Where exactly
North of Exit 23 approx. 2-3 miles on I-87 North, 3-4 miles south of Exit 24 on I-87 South. Cross street: Interstate 87 North or South
Cruisiest spot: Depends on the weather, warm out - walk the "picnic area" and the surrounding woods, bound to come across something if there are cars around. If it's cold, stay in your car, maybe give the brakes a tap or the inside light a flicker and will usually find out who's interested.
When to go
Any time, day or night. Area never closes. Best times: After sunset but daytime can be cruisy sometimes. Warm weather is always best.
Sunset today · Sunrise tomorrow
Etiquette
After finding out who's interested especially if they're in their car, get out, stand near the front of your car or get out and walk, either they'll join you outside or walk with you, just be careful as it is still a rest area and isn't just for cruising guys. Cops do patrol at times not very frequently though.
Safety
Guys who don't show what they are offering before they expect you to jump in and have a "grand ol' time" Trolls and pushy guys. This is an interstate and cops do patrol, have seen them drive through the area itself with spotlights checking the woods as they drive by and have seen them just drive by on the interstate and check quickly with a spotlight. 2 recent arrests but the guys were being blatant and obvious...stupid if you ask me. Just use common sense, not everyone is out for .
