A nature preserve that allows a visitor to see what the riverfront was like 100 years ago. The west side has boardwalks over the mangroves, the east side has a boat ramp.

From Oakland Park Boulevard take Northeast 16 Ave south (becomes Northeast 15th Ave). The ramp is just north and east of bridge. From Sunrise Blvd go north on NE 15th Ave and cross the 1st bridge.

  • Hours:Sunrise to sunset? Parking lots have gates.
    Best times: When gates open (around 8:30) to 12:00 then straight families come in then its good from about 4pm to close (about 5pm).

  • Please read and believe the sign posted at the park entrance (see photos): "Due to environmental and criminal violations, this park will be under video surveillance."

  • Went to this place early this a.m, i seen a hot bald headed tattooed guy, but i have no clue if he was a police or not. It can be some fun here, but like you guys say, you have to be careful.

  • I took my dog to the park today and noticed alot of activity with guys coming in and out of there.. I saw a guy giving another guy head on the south boardwalk.. Seems like its getting active again... YUMMY : )

  • I know a Wilton Manors cop and this park is very well known by them as a cruisy spot. They often send cops there to check up and to run sting operations. I agree, play elsewhere. At one time they even had cameras mounted in the bushes, but I think they were forced to remove them.

  • VERY heavy patrols. Crusing is fine. DO NOT PLAY THERE AT ALL. Undercover everywhere
