From I-10 exit Addicks north (hwy6)pass up the long bridge turn right on Patterson Rd -- turn left on Second Rd at Bear Creek Park go all the way til you see picnic areas and restrooms on right side; take Interstate Highway 10 (IH-10 or Katy Freeway, as the locals say) exit Eldridge Parkway, head north about a mile to War Memorial Drive and turn left. The western edge of the park borders Bear Creek Rd.
