Former artillery testing facilities.

Take I-465 north to 56th street/ Shadeland Avenue exit. Continue north past the 56th street exit to Shadeland Avenue which runs parallel to I-465. Go down the hill to the first light which is East Fall Creek Road, then turn left. Go underneath I-465 and the park is on the right.
Cross street: 6828 Fall Creek Road

  • Warnings:Police helicopters equipped with heat sensing camera do patrol the area at night. Plenty of plain clothes police.
    Warnings: Resident complaints caused 2 week sweep in January 2004 with 8 arrests.

  • Stay out of this park. Law enforcement has launched a major drive this summer to crack down on gay cruising in parks around Marion and Hamilton Counties. Dozens of men have been arrested this past month in several parks.
