To management's credit, Jason has apparently been fired yet again, so perhaps more cute young guys will feel like coming back. Action was pretty good this past Saturday night.

Went here Sunday night. I didn't expect a stellar crowd and there was one or two cuties. But I won't be going back anytime soon.

I hurt my back sitting in the theater style seating: cushions missing. I couldn't take a decent shower: only one showerhead was working, with cold water.

It would take so little to take care of the place but apparently they don't care enough. Too bad as the layout isn't bad at all.

I didn't have any issue with the employees this time.. Just wish they would do some simple clean up.

I'll have to agree with you cumboysd. Club San Diego is not what it used to be. I used to be a frequent visitor but not anymore. Maybe the loss of some competing bath houses in San Diego has led to their current state. If they had the right employees and cleaned up the place then they could have even raised their prices and still be successful. All but two of their employees are nice and respectful to the customers but that's all it takes to drive some of the business away. I have not had a problem there but I've witnessed enough to put the club at the bottom of my list of places to visit. I go there only if I don't feel like driving to a bath house in L. A.

Yes, the good news about Club San Diego is that they have rolled back the price increases they made some months ago. The prices have not been reduced to quite what they had been, but each category of room or locker has now gone down by about $3.00. The bad news about Club San Diego is that an unpleasant employee named Jason has been rehired after apparently being dismissed about a half year ago. The presence of this one meddlesome and controlling individual is nearly guaranteed to diminish the pleasure of your Club San Diego experience. You�ll find Jason, fully clothed, at the bathhouse every Friday and Saturday night even during times when he�s not on duty. He watches everyone with a hyper-vigilant eye and accosts people if they don�t wear their towels. He squelches activity in the semi-private areas, makes rounds telling people to close their doors, and generally attempts being social director with the younger guys while treating older customers with rudeness and contempt. If Club San Diego�s management better understood customer relations, this establishment could be a very successful enterprise. In its current state of mismanagement, you may, like my friends and me, wish to consider other less restrictive venues for wicked weekend fun. At least we still have the Vulcan as San Diego�s one remaining bathhouse alternative, though the clientele there is often rather disappointing.

Probably a good idea that they did that, lockers were or are 25 bucks so i wonder if they reduced the locker rate also? It was 27 bucks for a non -tv room and 25 for lockers..

Prices have been reduced by a few dollars. The non-member price for a regular room today is $24 (was $27). I guess their last price increases didn't work as well as they planned.

I have been there 3 times and had a miserable experience every time, The rooms are clean but all three times the TV did not work there were some good looking guys but totally stuck up. It was just funny sitting back and watching them rate each other frankly I m a working actor and get enough rejection professionally I don't have to pay for more. A side note one young guy who was "Too Hot" to talk with me inside became Mr I want to be your friend when he saw me getting in to my XK. Thanks but no thanks

This place is pretty pricey, but it's the only bath house in Hillcrest now. Like Kip says I've had some real good times here and other times not so good.

How much did they raise the prices? Last time i was there in Nov $25.00 bucks for a locker. Basic Room Non-Tv was 27.00., TV room 32.00..and then up. These are non member prices.

Hasn't been as much fun since they raised the prices a few weeks ago

I think they need to have daytime specials during weekdays say 8am till 6pm they should offer room and locker discounts possibly for a 4-6 hr session. Or 11am to 2pm..lunchtime special. I think that would get more bodies in there. I too have been there during the daytime and it is rathe quiet from 4am on till about noon/afternoon..then definitely picks up after 7 or 8. Something tells me they aren't really open to ideas.

I know there's a lot of young guys here but I wonder if they also have a lot of attitude like the guys at Hollywood Spa. Could anyone tell me how the crowd is here compared to Vulcan?

I heard from a buddy that they went back and reinstated 12 hr sessions like they used to have instead of the 8hr session so that kind levels things out more. I wonder if you can still go up to 3 sessions?
