Is This Your Business?

This is a very secluded area, with lots of trees along the canal to protect you from prying eyes. Once you have either arranged to meet someone or just hooked up there; where is ample space and foliage to head off to gain more privacy, if wanted?
There is the occasional jogger and dog walker, but otherwise very shelter from the public.

Neighbourhood: Canterbury

From Sydney Central Station catch the train on 'Bankstown line' to Campsie Railway Station. When you alight at Campsie Station, take either the stairs or the elevator up to promenade level; which will lead you directly onto Beamish Street. Once on Beamish Street turn left (heading away from the town centre) and follow it all the way down until hit the cluster of tree near the river which is the inlet to the reserve.

  • Hours:The best time is from dusk until dawn, depending on the weather of course. This is a good area to pre-arrange.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:There are a few apartments/houses that border the reserve, but they are fenced off.
Actually one the bonus to this location is, if the river is flowing quite fast is also creates a great sound barrier.
  • Nudity / Policy:Not really as this is a public space, but in saying that I guess after dark you could quite easily get away with it.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / No
  • Warnings:Always be aware of your surroundings and safety; there is also a foot bridge across the canal near Beamish Street for a quick get away if needed.
