65commentscruiser update 2/2/2009: THe mood has changed quite a bit since this was first posted. The crowd has become much more gay in the past 2 years. I talked to the cleark and he said they cannot stop it, if guys want to play. Just be discreet . . there are the occasional guys who are there just for a soak. But you will not be disapoointed. A cruise member writes: You asked about Paradise Sauna. It's absolutely a beautiful facility with a great Jacuzzi, etc. Not cheap at $18.00. It's old world..many European men. It is the most homoerotic place I have ever been too. Many of the men are young and have nice shapes and some are hung. It's wonderful to see them there everyone is buck naked. unfortunately there is NO there. They, of course, have Gay and Bi Guys there but there is no place for . I live a few blocks away and I frequently go there to relax in the cold winter months. But I repeat, people do look at the hotties but NO goes on. Recently a Gay guy was masturbating and he was told to take it privately in the bathroom. We both got into trouble. The Latino desk clerk seems very adverse to any y . Went there, had a blast. It's not your total gay bathhouse; more like a cozy Korean sauna - but the guys who go there are in for fun... It's a good, clean place where you can get a WHOLE, lotta fun... just remember to treat the place and the owners with respect - and we'll be in good shape!

are you chicago guys stupid?? That Jamie boy is a hustler if ever there was one, maybe you should all "BONE" up on your tennessee williams, roman spring perhaps? The kid is hustling you guys . a peek here a peek there a desire to mother him, get a grip. maybe east coast hustlers are a bit more aggressive and obvious, but i can smell a hustler two thousand miles away.and the comment about saying too many descripitve comments about certain individuals is most( inappropiate), could lead to many problems. be discreet. no names body markings or physical descriptions that could cause problems for others.

Was there Friday afternoon between 2:30 and 4:00. the place was more crowded than I had seen it ince a Saturday afternoon. And quite a few of the guys were hot and into total nudity. Everyone was looking and staring but not a lot of overt action. but definetly worth the trip.

Someting happened to this place. I was there last night (Friday) and by 8:30ish there were only 3 guys in the place. Half the lights were turned off by 9PM. Before that there were a few straight guys there too but they werent even into showing off. Total waste of time going there, especially on a Friday night. Does anyone know why no one is going there anymore? Did something happen? Where are the guys going now?

Was there Sunday afternoon and I gotta say I was kinda disappointed. I have been going to Paradise for a a couple years. The place has really come a long way. This was the first time I was bored. There were plenty of guys there but no one was playing. Don't get me wrong they were looking but not playing. I found a few guys to play with but the others would not join in or they acted like they were not interested . . but again they were looking. Maybe just an off day.

I'm also looking for younger, in-shape <40 bi and straight guys. The last few times I've visited, I've been disappointed. Last year, guys 20s and even some late teens would come in here to hang out on weekends. They gave the place a heart-pounding vibe. Now, I walk in and the in-shape studs are gone, with the overweight, sagging trolls having the run of the place. I can't even start a decent conversation with them. Not only are they creepy, but they give the place an air of decay that i don't find appealing. Anyone know where the in-shape guys have gone to? Steamworks? Sweatlodge?

I have not been here in a long time. How has it been in the evenings? Any in shape and decent looking guys there? I am not picky really but this place went way downhill quick. How about the obese trolls that had overrun the place? Is it the same way now? Is this guy that everyone drools over on here the only attractive guy that goes to the place? I couldn't agree more xvitaminx. The people attracted to this place are not the kind I want to cruise with. Too much kissing and telling. I guess that isn't true reading some of the posts, stalking and telling by several of the guys is more like it. I'd avoid this place if nothing else for the reason that details about what you did at paradise will be posted, and not by you. If you don't care, fine, but there are plenty of people who look at this site for reasons other than it's intended use.

First TImer I plan on going to Paradise this week. Never been there before. Could some one walk me through what I need to do and what I should expect from walking in the door through my entire visit. Do I need to bring anything? Is everyone nude all the time? What if I pop a hard on? Anthing to be aware of? Any other helpful information?

For Hngthick--thanks for the tip. I agree with your point. I never really thought about that--and based on what I saw going on at Paradise, I figured it was just part of the environment and "accepted." Is there any way to remove or edit that portion of my post? For Pidgo and AlexHiFly--I have a an update for you both. LoL. I saw your boy there again Friday night. I'm sure it was him--I saw him changing to leave this time. it was him per your description. Here's the best part though--seems as though some Mexican guy got pissed at him. They were talking in the locker room about politics, and he mentioned he voted for Hillary Clinton in the primary race, and said he wasn't crazy about Obama--and this Mexican guy really let him have it. The Mexican dude was really overzealous--he acted the same way when he was cruisin' around--got all pissed off at everyone for walking around when he was jackin' off. Then the Mexican dude asked him if he would have some dinner with him at the restaurant next door, and he declined, and the Mexican went off on him again about Hillary Clinton. It was pretty scary. I think this Mexican guy kind of scared your boy off--wonder if he'll come back or not. I hope he does, I'm over his age I imagine, but I like good eye candy at Paradise--usually don't get much there.

I don't want to criticize people, but Robert's post seems a bit too much. I would not want to see Ivo get in trouble if what Robert described and believes happened actually did occur. A bit more discretion about what we post goes a long way. Too many great cruising spots have been ruined by over the top activity, and frequently sites such as this one have helped draw attention to those activities. I've also heard about employees including massage therapitsts at other spas, not in chicago, who were named on this board who ended up getting let go from their jobs because of "inappropriate" activity. It is also an invasion of privacy for this guy that was mentioned to have his name mentioned. For all you know he reads this board, and seeing his name and business told for all to see will probably result in him not coming back. Bottom line, be more discreet everyone, it would be a shame to see Paradise clamp up again, Ivo lose his job, and/or the goodlooking guys not come back because they are afraid of being exposed on here.

Alex, I was at Paradise last Friday. I think I know who you are talking about. I've been going there for about two years, and don't really see much there, but that one Friday, this kid came in and people out by the pools were all telling each other to go check out the locker room. A guy with a tattoo was talking to him in the steam room. That tattoo guy talked to him and got his name. He talked about coming on Saturdays, but I do remember this was that Friday. He did dress like he was from the suburbs, but there, it made him look like a hustler. You should have got his name and number Alex. I've been to Paradise regularly, and not a lot of hot guys are there--but someone told me about cruise, and I'm grateful for that. Good luck Alex, try talking to him next more instead of posting so much about him. ; )

Cruisin4fun is right. This place at times is ruined by morbidly obese guys that are way too desperate. It is called a gym or treadmill. Just go ahead and reprimand them. They need it. This place is just hit or miss. I have had some great hook ups in all the areas at times. You have to watch for the Korean men that know stuff goes on and don't like it. yep you got it. The scrub is in the open in the wet area. Only Ivo does those. He is there on Saturday and Monday. The massages can be done by Ivo or one of the ladies in a more private setting.

no you will not get a massage from anyone in lingerie. Read the posts below there are over 100 that will tell you what this is about. Massages are done in private cubicles You can hang on to your towel and no one cares if you get hard.
