Where exactly

Dry Canyon is south of NM 82 between mile marker 5 and mile marker 6go up the hill towards cloudcroft, right after the little smokie the bear sign on the right turn right down in to the dirt road. Cross street: Highway 82. three miles east of Florida.

Cruisiest spot: all the way in past the corall towards the barrier. or in to the left in the open area

Etiquette

dont be scared by guys shooting ,,,for some its only a reason to hang out,, not the reason they are there, and during hunting season guys go there to camp then hunt... but thats not all they do....

Safety

if your interested aproach and say hi,, if there not interested youll know imedatly not all the guys who go there are open minded,,, but the ones who are will let you know if you aproach them

Went there a few weeks ago and walked up the hill, big mistake! There wasn't anyone shooting when I went up there, but that didn't last.... bullets were too close for comfort. I thought they shot into the slooping hills, but BOY was I wrong. So, be WARNED not to go up the hill unless you like to live dangerously. George
