Every Wednesday evening Vrankrijk holds its Queer voku, also called WTF Queer Wednesday: vegan food for 5 EUR from 19:00 and a party from 22:00. On Friday evenings Punk Night starts at 21:00, and most Saturdays bring benefit concerts and parties, punk, queer and more. The bar at Spuistraat 216 is a casual dive with live entertainment, good for groups, and a crowd of locals mostly 30+ and 40+. It is trans-friendly and mixed LGBTQ+, and works with a Safer Space Policy. On the first Monday of the month at 19:00 an open meeting decides on new events, where anyone can propose one.
