The exterior door is loud enough to give fair warning, but you should be cautious anyway. Certain parts of the parking lot are pretty dark and often vacant, so a little action in the front or back seat is OK and relatively safe.

Be discreet, this is mostly a straight men's room, and I have only met guys there on rare occasions.
Safety
Apparently no one in the county uses their own bathroom before leaving home -- they all use this one, at least on weekends! Even if you get something going, there are often a lot of interruptions. Store security may monitor, but don't make an issue of it.
