William Mayberry Arboretum
3commentsThis is a small park near the south end of campus. There is a parking lot and a trail that makes a circle through the woods. A lot of people park there around lunch time, but in off times could be used for hook up fun.
- Best time
- Park is open 24/7.
- Watch out
- I would just keep in mind that straight folk some times walk their dogs here.

Pleasant Hill Road, Carbondale Wheelchair: No / The trail is wooded and not paved at all so is not…
The guide
Where exactly
Turn east on Pleasant Hill Road and it is on the left after you cross over the rail road tracks. Also on the corner of Wall Street and Pleasant Hill Road.
When to go
Park is open 24/7. There are some people who leave their cars there to car pool and have seen heavy traffic there during the lunch hour.
Sunset today · Sunrise tomorrow
Etiquette
Just park and start walking the trail. In the past few years I have had several good experiences here.
Nudity: No nudity allowed of course. But when the area isn't busy, it is a perfect place. The woods hide your activity from all directions.
Safety
I would just keep in mind that straight folk some times walk their dogs here.

This is a good place to meet I have to agree. A lot safer than park bathrooms. Just keep it discrete.
