Where exactly

Exit at Giardini Naxos and follow for Fiumefreddo (driving west) look for Catsello san Marco Camping or Pino Verde Restaurant. Once on San Marco beach, look for the river Alcantara. Go when the river enter the sea. Naturist, Cruising people, lots of action. Cross street: Nazionale

Cruisiest spot: Once the road end on the beach turn left to reach the river. You will find a lot of trails in the wood.

When to go

Weekend, all day, weekdays in the afternoon. Early evening especially during spring and summer.

Etiquette

Fishermen are usually very close to the sea shore. Look up close by the river and in the bushes

Nudity: Yes / Great Local .

Safety

No police. In Italy and especially in Sicily going through the wood is legal. This spot is also a great location to spot wild birds.
