This is a park that has not been kept up very well over the years. It is not trashy, just not landscaped well. It is located right off of Cave Creek Rd. There are trails and information about cacti and some brief history of Arizona located throughout the park.

The guide
Where exactly
It lies straight off of Cavern Creek Roadway, right as the communities of Cavern Creek and Carefree fulfill. Take Vermeersch Rd north off of Cavern Creek Rd. The paved roadway looks to a dust roadway. You will see a little park to your left and car parking is on the right.
When to go
The posted times for the park vary according to season. During summer months the park is open until 9pm and during winter months it is open until 7pm or 8pm. Again these are the posted times, the park is not monitored. They do have posted signs about no overnight parking or camping.

Etiquette
Walk around and along the trails until you see someone interesting. This is not far from some residental areas, so as always be safe and smart while crusing. Cruisiest Spot: Cruisiest spots would be the trails or behind the buildings at the top of the hill. The location provides for plenty of lookout and recovery time.
