Agioi Apostoloi Beach
Crete has very little to offer the gay cruiser, but the beach at Agioi Apostoloi has some action - besides being a great beach for the more traditional beach activities!

Agion Apostolon Street, Agioi Apostoloi (Nea Kydonia), Chania
The guide
Where exactly
The beach is located just outside Chania on the western part of Crete in the touristic coastal area between Chania and Gerani. By car, take the old national road along the coast and head for the beach - there are parking spaces available at the beach. By bus, take the 142/143 line running along the coast and get off in Agioi Apostoloi. From the old national road where the bus goes, it's a fifteen minutes walk to the beach. Use Googlemaps and look up either Agioi Apostoloi or Agion Apostolon (street).
When to go

Etiquette
The beach area consists of a number of beaches including two coves. Most action goes on around the larger cove and there is a spot for gay beach goers on the western side of the larger cove, at the tip of the beach which is the most secluded. If you don't see any action, you will at least be able to enjoy a very nice beach, so well worth the hike!
