I find the bar cliquish, the bartenders unresponsive. The gossiping and back biting amuzing. I would not recommend the bar. Sorry.

Z109 used to be a great gay bar it is now called the Roosevelt Bar & Dance Club and it is totally STRAIGHT

Yes, she will be fine. Actually on the weekends they have drag shows in addition to the dancers. The clientele is mostly gay men but women are welcome.

Name change for this address. This is now called the Viper Room. I might check it out.

Haven't been in a while, but it almost always seemed to have a good group of TV patrons. Last time I went there were more dressed in the audience than in the show. Weeknights were weak, but weekends it was hopping. Hope to go back soon.
