Where exactly

Use the parking lot at the entrance to the AT. Most cruisers sit in their cars, and when another car approaches, get out and go look at the maps at the trail head. Cross street: Route 80 and Main Street

Cruisiest spot: Deep in the woods, off the trails.

When to go

Daylight in warm weather. Best times: Daylight in warm weather.

Etiquette

Look for guys getting out of their cars and checking out the map and trail information. Strike up a conversation. Chances are if you are you'll both be stumbling for the right words.

Safety

Too many normal people. Beware of ticks, poison ivy/oak, skunk, bear, hikers, etc.
