cruiser adds: You need to go a bit further down townsend to cow lane. That's where ther track crosses the A34. Plain sailing from there on in. This is a single track road. Just go over the bridge which crosses the A34. No lighting so easy to spot other cars coming down. No shelter unfortunately so not always ideal in bad weather.
