The guide
Where exactly
It's just off the A1 about 75 miles north of Paris toward Lille. Take Exit 13, Peronne, and head on RN29 (aka RN17 / E44) toward Amiens. About a half mile beyond Estrees, the road descends into a small valley. The parking area is along both sides of the road at the bottom of the hill. Cross street: A1
Cruisiest spot: The south side of the road has a more beautiful forest, north side seems to get more visitors.

Safety
Can be slow on occasion, but there can be some amazing surprises. Some guys don't pick up after themselves. Never more than 3 or 4 cars. Quality, not quantity. Pretty far out for police patrols, but who knows.
