On September 24, 2016, Daniel Mozzes will be hosting “Fashion for Life” at The Pearl Street Pub, in downtown Albany. Part of the proceeds from his show will be donated to Velvet Kyle’s charity, Velvet’s Totes for Hope. Mozzes, a current resident of Albany, has studied in Holland and Buenos Aires. He is noted throughout Europe for his innovative and cutting edge designs. “Breast cancer is a terrible disease,” says Mozzes. “Women can be devastated from the effects. It can disturb a woman’s sense of sexuality and femininity as well as leaving them with a multitude of physical ailments. I am delighted to work with Velvet Kyle, herself a breast cancer survivor, and her charity, Velvet’s Totes for Hopes. Her charity provides totes filled with items such as a blanket, neck pillow, hand sanitizer, tissues, lip balm and other goodies to cancer patients in the Capital Region.” “I’m very honored that fashion designer Daniel Mozzes has chosen to support our mission,” says Velvet Kyle. “The money raised through Daniel’s commitment will help us provide more totes to cancer patients locally.
