AFTER ORLANDO is an international theatre action curated by Missing Bolts Productions and NoPassport Theatre Alliance & Press, comprised of over 70 plays written in response to the tragic shooting at Pulse Nightclub, June 12, 2016. In light of these recent tragic events, and a growing devastating history of gun violence in the United States and worldwide, NoPassport and Missing Bolts Productions asked select theatremakers around the world to join this project, driven by the ability of theatre to bring together distinct and powerful voices. Readings will be held internationally from September 12 - January 31, 2017. Tricklock Company is proud to be one of over 50 theatre companies across the US and UK participating in this event. Tricklock Company Members and invited guests will be reading pieces from Katie Pearl, Caridad Svich, Brian James Polak, Giovanni Ortega, Joan Lipkin, and Deborah Asiimwe. These short, diverse works were written in direct response to the tragedy in Orlando. Please join Tricklock Company Friday November 18th at 8pm for this important event. A short reception will follow the performance. This is a Pay What You Decide event with a portion of proceeds benefitting Equality New Mexico.
