In the wake of one of America's worst tragedies, the Asbury Park LGBT community came together to plant 49 trees in Library Square Park in remembrance of our fallen brothers and sisters. On this day, one year later we will gather to show our love, support and demonstrate how strong our community can be. Thank you to the City of Asbury Park and The Environmental Tree Shade Committee for their continue endeavors to maintain and beautify the area. Guest speakers include; Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn; Christian Fuscarino, Executive Director of Garden State Equality; Luanne Peterpaul (activist, writer, attorney and member of the board of directors for Garden State Equality).
