WHERE:

Songkran Thai New Year / GCircuit, Bangkok

DESCRIPTION:

Songkran is a Thai traditional New Year which starts on April 13 every year and lasts for 3 days. It is also known as the "Water Festival" as people believe that water will wash away bad luck. With that it mind, it is not hard to understand why the streets outside Silom, where all the gay bars are, are packed with half dressed and fairly wet gay guys.... During Songkran also one of the largest gay circuit events is held in Bangkok. It has roof terrace pool parties, a big foam party at the Babylon gay sauna and large dance parties at night. This festival attracts many muscle guys from all over Asia, and also many Western tourists. Bangkok is really hectic and fun during Songkran, but it's also nice to get away from it and relax at the pool of the hotel for a couple of hours. So make sure to reserve a nice one.
