PH Pop Up Art Market 2016

About

It’s no longer a secret that Pendleton Heights holds a magnetic attraction for creative souls, so our annual PH Pop Up Art Market was a natural inevitability. The kicker is, after five years we are admittedly bowled over by how it’s evolved. High caliber artists continue to return to show with us, and in turn have drawn new talent to this fairly fascinating yearly event. The pop up was originally conceived to highlight the work of artists who've chosen to call this very special enclave their home. Over the past few years and by popular demand, we’ve expanded those perimeters to shine a light on other artists of Historic Northeast Kansas City and those we call Friends of PH (artists who’ve contributed to the evolution of PH & HNE). Artists showing this year include: Lee Ann Barker Andrea Bledsoe Nicole Cawlfield Bryan Clark Rachel Collins Tish Egerton Renee LaFerriere Cinderhouse Johanna Miller Purl Mountain Angie Rosete George Rousis Supporting participants: Eleos Coffee Pendleton Heights Neighborhood Association (PH Merchandise & Homes Tour) The 5th Annual Pendleton Heights Pop Up Art Market is happening from 11am until 4pm, and- as if we have to say it- you should come because it’s going to be the best one yet. As always, the PH Art Market coincides with the Pendleton Heights Annual Homes Tour (now in it’s 10th year). Admission to the Art Market is free and open to the public. Advance tickets to the Homes Tour can be purchased here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2591493 IMPORTANT:The 2016 Pop Up will be situated in the Butterworth Alumni Center at KCU (main entrance on Woodland Avenue) FYI: A portion of funds raised this year will go to Legal Aid of Western Missouri. The remainder will go to the Pendleton Heights Neighborhood Association to help with maintenance and various neighborhood projects.
