Suede Boston Globe says she's "Wicked exciting!" NY press says she's like Adele meets Diana Krall meets Bette Midler, sassy, smooth and intoxicating. No pressure, right? She was Joan Rivers' opening act. Dare her. Come see why! Suede is a singer and multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, trumpet and guitar - but voice is her first instrument and entertaining is clearly her first love. Oh, and she's FUNNY too. She tours nationally and internationally, filling rooms like NYC's famous Birdland, Boston's Scullers Jazz Club, Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, MD, Feinstein's in San Francisco, has played The Kennedy Center, and more. To date she's also headlined on over 100 Olivia private chartered Cruises. Tough gig - said no one EVER. She's won numerous awards for her 5 CDs and DVD "Live at Scullers Jazz Club" which has aired on 54 PBS stations nationally thus far as part of their fund drive efforts. She is beyond thrilled to make her debut in The Key West Theater! Vickie Shaw: VickieShaw.com She's the funniest comedian EVER! She said so herself! Vickie makes people laugh 'til their faces hurt and ribs crack! She has traveled the entire US many times over as well as internationally doing just that. She gets her best material from her life with her wife Sargent Patch, their three children and three grandchildren. She's been in movies, like "Laughing Matters More", television, Comedy Central, four comedy specials on the LOGO Channel, Late In Life Lesbians, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen - just to name a few. She headlines on Olivia Cruises, HRC events, Lambda Legal, GLAAD, and the list just keeps growing. She is also THRILLED to be back in Key West and debuting at The Key West Theater.
