Equal Love Ballarat is rallying again. We are taking a peaceful, positive approach to protesting Australia's lack of marriage equality. The afternoon will take place in Camp St, Ballarat Central. Presentations and Performances will be inside Trades Hall, but perhaps outside in Aflred Deakin Place weather permitting. If the weather is on our side there will also be a rainbow chalking. There will be speech presentations from Martin Foley MP, Sally Rugg of GetUp, Lance DeBoyle, Ballarat Councillor Belinda Coates, Equal Love Melbourne and Equal Love Ballarat. We are also looking for locals to present their personal stories if they so choose. Please message the Equal Love Ballarat Facebook page to register to do so, as people who have not registered will not be able to speak There will also be performances from the lovely Sarina Belle and Dyke Tyson. There will be a short March, to take place along the footpath. Map for this is posted on the event wall. If you want to make placards, you are welcome to. Please wear your rainbow colours and bring along your rainbow chalk! The After Party will take place at The Lost Ones Basement Bar after the rally, so come for a drink and a chat and remember.... Even the smallest stone makes a ripple in the largest pond.
