// WELCOME TO POPCHOPS // A Queer Pop Party A simple four-minute banger can not only bring joy and euphoria, but also provide a sweet escape for the perils and pitfalls of everyday life. Boss getting you down? Whack on a Destiny's Child track and you'll survive. Boy problems? Carly Rae's got your back. Need to let loose on the d-floor? Break free with princess Ari. Picture walking into an episode of Top Of The Pops or jumping into the pages of Smash Hits magazine. Popchops DJs will be mixing current pop faves with throwback classics. Pop music is not a guilty pleasure: pop has feelings. Like pop music itself, Popchops is an escape from reality - a night where friendship never ends, love don't cost a thing and the party don't start 'till you walk in.
