About

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- ***PLEASE REGISTER NOW*** Registration : bipocbbq@gmail.com A safer space BBQ for QTBIPOC (Queer and/or Trans Black Indigenous People of Colour) to have a free meal, hang out and connect with others. WELCOME! Accessibility information: The parc has a "priority entrance" where one may enter in a wheelchair. There is then a paved path that will take guests to an elevated platform in front of the stage. In the zone where the platform is situated, there are also two washrooms that are fully accessible. There are also more accessible washrooms in the parc among those lined up along Lorimier Avenue. The path to those however, is not paved. We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather for Canada Pride Montréal 2017 is the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk). The island called “Montréal” is known as Tiotia:ke in the language of the Kanien’kehá:ka, and it is a place which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst nations, including the Algonquin people.
