Queer Sabor Social is a queer and trans Afro-Latin dance party held at Crybaby, 1928 Telegraph Ave in Oakland, California. The event runs on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 4pm to 10pm, and this edition follows a Harvest Hoedown theme. The schedule mixes learning and dancing. A cumbia class with Mireille opens the afternoon at 4pm, followed at 5pm by a bachata class with Pame that is beginner friendly. At 8pm a performance showcase takes the floor, with special guest artists Natasha Karp and the In lak'ech Dance House Performance Series, plus more acts. From there, DJ Ron plays an Afro-Latin mix until 10pm. Tickets are sold online through the official ticket page, with prices starting at 1 USD. Because the classes start early in the day, arriving at 4pm or 5pm lets you take part in the lessons before the showcase and the DJ set.
