About
Bear Carnival is an annual international week of beach, bears and beer on Gran Canaria. The 2027 edition takes place from 8 to 18 April and is based at Yumbo. The event is linked to the Maspalomas Carnival, which is held at the Yumbo Center. Yumbo is the gay centre of Gran Canaria, and the carnival is open to everyone. Because gay crowds dominate there, it has a distinctly pink character. For dates, programme and further details, visit the official event pages at bearcarnival.com and maspalomas.com.
