2016 Provincetown Polar Bear Plunge

On New Years Day 2016, a bunch of crazy and intrepid people will gather in the Johnson Street parking lot and at 2 p.m., they will run into Provincetown Harbor. This recurring tradition gains new life as part of the Provincetown First Light celebrations for New Years Weekend 2016. This event, co-sponsored by the Harbor Lounge and 8 Dyer Hotel will feature a quick dip in the harbor followed by warm-up cocktails and chili at Harbor Lounge. Registration this year is free and limited to 50 people. Only the first 50 registered people will get a souvenir t-shirt.
