"My Weekend in Provincetown" - Series Preview Party Inspired by the drawings of Egon Schiele, this collection of digital drawings is an extension of the Photography series called “Strangers”. It is a documentation and deconstruction of the great diversity of people who come each year to Provincetown, Massachusetts, Cape Cod to work, live and play. Over the years, this community has been and continues to be home to Portuguese fishing families, visual and performing artists, celebrities, a vibrant LGBT community and those just looking for a simpler life at the tip of Cape Cod. Tennessee Williams, Eugene O’Neill, Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning have all taken up residence or vacationed here at one time. But in the end, people are just people. They come to Provincetown to let go, to laugh and to love. The prints were designed to allow any viewer to place themselves inside the art and to trigger their own collection of memories here at the end of Cape Cod.
