Attention one & all As everyone knows hurricane Harvey threw a hissy fit and really messed it up for Houston and people living along the Gulf Coast. So in an effort to be supportive and in conjunction with the Bachelor Forum, Bears of Rochester& Paul Rapalee we have put together quite an event. Saturday September 9th The Bachelor Forum is hosting a BearBQ and a charity auction. 100% of the donations will go to help relief efforts and support Houston via the Montrose Center post Hurricane Harvey. The Montrose Center is Houston's LGBT Alliance, very similar to our own GAGV here in Rochester. www.montrosecenter.org The bar will be grilling burgers & hot dogs plus all the fixin's outside. 9 pm + on. While you're there enjoying some grub and buds and suds, please feel free to donate what you can, $5 would rock. Once inside (this gave me a chuckle) feel free to peruse the tables to see what service or gift certificate you would like to purchase tickets for. Among the many items you can bid for is 5 hours of foreign language course time, a leather sling, AND a $500 bar tab for the Forum... You heard that right. Once again, 100% of the donations & proceeds (including a portion of the bar sales, with no less than $500) this evening will be sent to the Montrose Center to help get civilians, brothers and sisters like us, on the Gulf Coast back up on their feet. Won't you please join us for a fantastic night of camaraderie all in the name of community.
