About

The festival kicks off with a spectacular display of fireworks – set above the beautiful Sant Bartolomeu church on the water front. During the day, people build human pyramids, and at night there are parades of locals wearing giant papier-mâché heads. Also on offer are fire-breathing beasts and ancient dances like the diables (devils), bastons (stick dance), gitanes (gypsies), cercolets or moixiganga, among others.
