Don Shearer will be exhibiting his early to most recent art work in design, paintings, clothing, steampunk & hardware. A unique artist and talent, Shearer has been in the South Florida art scene for three decades, known for his angel paintings, bold activist graphics, found object jewelry, painted furniture and installations. “As an artist I plead insanity to experience everything in life at the deepest level of fascination, to be the only one like me, but to rhyme with everyone.” Shearer has accolades that include a one man show at Madison Square Garden, a 2 time HORTT winner at the Ft Lauderdale Museum of Art, a Page Six New York Post profile, a 1993 XS Magazine cover story by guest curator Sandra Schulman and collectors that include actor Willem Dafoe and the late Vincent Price.
