It's a boat launch for Thumb Lake with a toilet to go in and have fun. You can also stay in your cars and have fun there. Also a good place to meet up and go other places. Parking lot is decent sized, Pretty close to road but pretty out there area.

Old 27 to Thumb Lake Road in Vanderbilt. Thumb Lake Rd is by a gas station to the left and you are going north on Old 27 toward Wolverine. You'll see the boat launch signs. It's only 5 miles down Thumb Lake Rd. And you can find it on your GPS.

When to go

Late afternoons and nights are the best. The occasional police patrol might go by but you can go to the park parking lot near by.

Etiquette

Park in boat launch parking lot and tap brakes when someone comes in or park next to them and signal to them.
