The 501 leather bar is located on the North East Corner facing Michigan street. the cross street is College Ave. The Sign out side says The 501 Tavern. College Ave is one way North and Michigan is One way WestCross street: (Corner of Michigan Street and College)

this place no longer allows "playing around." The staff are mostly rude (and don't seem to care). Been really dead the last several times I've gone. Don't waste your time if you are looking for fun in the bar. Easy to find a hook up and leave, but no playing on site.

Is this place worth checking out? I used to live in Indy and it was a hot place sometimes - not always. Last time I was there - @ 2 years ago - it was full of rather beefy guys, no offense. Anyway, I'm returning for a couple of days and was wondering. Suggestions: Go or No?
