Private property, owned by the IHOP church, but visitors are allowed to walk through the area and enjoy the scenery and the view of the lakes.

Where exactly

West of Hwy 71 on Red Bridge to Cleveland Avenue. Turn South on Cleveland. Some people park at the school and walk the rest of the way, others park alongside the dirt road on the back side of the lake near where the benches are located. Cross street: 1 block South of 114th Terrace @ Cleveland, Kansas City, Mo 64137

Cruisiest spot: There are three benches overlooking the lake in this area.

When to go

Typically late evening, near dusk or after dark.

Etiquette

I know it sounds stupid, but mentioning the name "Craig" seems to be the signal. From what I gather, it is because it used to be advertised as a meeting place on Craig's List.

Nudity: My partners and I have stripped completely naked at areas 1, 2, and 4 - but again, it was always late evening and long after dark.

Safety

There is traffic (cars and pedestrians) along the main dirt road at various times. Do NOT do any activity within sight of the road. This place has been a 'secret' cruise spot for about two years with no one getting caught. Use common sense.
