cruiser Update: this is the newly renovated university facility, Lethbridge college is a completely different institution. day passes/lockers availiable. Steam room is in the main locker room. Fitness centre members can lease a locker on a 1, 4, 8, or 12 month basis, however spaces are limited, so best to get on them ASAP at the end of a term. Steamroom used by fit gym goers (mostly in their 20's but lots of older guys too).--There seems to be no security. Bring a towel, find a place to stash your clothes, stip and enter the steam room. You now need to pay a membership fee, or drop in rate for access.
You can buy a day pass to the weight room in the basement. It's quite a good gym. Then you can use the steam room legally.

cruiser adds: You now need to actually pay/present your pass to the staff at the desk on the lowerlevel (basement), so you actualy do want to pass by them to get in.--
park in the West lot (pay attention to the signs, they ticket frequently).
Enter via west doors. Go to lower level. Try to avoid passing in front of the Equipment Room (office) staff.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:cruiser update: In the new locker room, there is more than one showering area. Although the principle one seems most frequented, the other could become quite cruisy.

  • Nudity / Policy:use of cellphones/pda's is prohibited, but its a locker room. Nudity is expected.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / This centre is handi-accessible, and there is even a handi-accessible shower.
  • Warnings:cruiser update: as of September '07, anyone can lease a locker/use a day locker in the daylocker room.---closes at 11pm m-th, 9 on fri, 8 on weekends.--No security on your clothes. Unless you are a staff/student, you won't get a locker.

  • i go to the steam room all the time. some guys look, talk to me. i find straight guys tend to not talk to you. though i'm never totally sure if a guy is hitting on me. if he says "it's getting warmer/colder out side" or "do you go to school here" i wonder. but it can be obvious when a guy gets a hard on. i do sometimes.

    anyway, if there are some hot, in shape masculine guys interested in meeting me there, message me
