Safety
Alot of guys just standing there doing nothing. Kent County Council announced last week (14/1) that the lay-by on the A249, nr the Three Squirrals PH, between Maidtone & Sittingbourne will be closed completely in the near future. THIS IS AS A RESULT OF NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS FROM MOTORISTS & RESIDENTS REGARDING THE ACTIVITIES OF GAYS AND 'DOGGERS' BOTH IN THE LAY-BY AND THE WOODED AREA ADJACENT TO IT. THE POLICE HAVE BEEN BUSY AT THAT LOCATION IN THE PAST WEEKS and dispite media 'warnings' several men and couples have been cautioned or arrested for offences relating to public decency. Apparently the Police activity will continue right up until closure, so, if you are tempted for 'one last look', I would advise against it! Will post again when a definate date for closure is known.
