Take McHenry Avenue north, five miles out of city, over river to a stop sign. Turn left onto River Road for a mile to the park gate on the left.

When to go

Park opens from 6am til 9pm. Best times: The park is most active at lunchtime, pm to early evening. Dates open: Park opens from 6am til 9pm.

Be careful here. I've seen lots of police and rangers cruising the park too. I'm not sure if there undercover or not but it's too risky for me.

Went out and checked it out today. Guess becaue of spring break had some families out there. Not sure where to meet up but it does have lots of places to hide
