Near Metro Laurier, a couple of blocks west of St Denis Street. Take Laurier Street westbound till you cross St Lawrence and head due south. 5018 is next to the Caisse Populaire . Cross street: St-Joseph Blvd.

this place can be depressing if there's not many people around, usually late at night, but it's not as filthy as some people say it is. was there a few weeks ago and had a super hot time (friday after work) with "several" guys.

Arriving in Montreal 4-26....and hope to visit the 5018 several times this week.....I hope it is good as it was several years ago when I visited there.

Effectivement je ne serais pas surpris d'apprendre sa fermeture! D'autant plus que l' Or-J alias le Ste-Cath, est le m–me prop. que le 5018. Tous les profits que le 5018 fait sert – financer l' Or-J.

THis place need to be clean, repainted. The smell when you come in is terrible. Too dark to see how much durty on the floor and worst in the shower and the dark room. Yeap, if you campare with 10 years ago, the place has less younger peaple and more grandpas who look to live there. Where go the guy dorm outromont and miles end ?

whatever, the average age is NOT 30s. it's late 40s at the youngest. however, i have occasionally had good times here with younger guys. come on mile enders, i know there are tons of hotties out there, why don't you go to this place? we can make it better.

To hellraiser - I don't why you'd say that it's only "grandpas". I'd say the average age there would be around men in their mid 30's, and most of them tend to be stocky types, with the occasional odd 18/21 year old and the much older dude walking around. Clearly you really don't have any experience when it comes to bathhouses and you're just bad mouthing the place. I'm not a very big fan of saunas with extremely large open spaces as it tends to break a lot of the intimacy and instead you just have a bunch of guys standing around looking at each other with no action going on. If someone approaches you and he's not particularly your type, just decline and politely say no. I've never had to be aggressive and they always understand. I really don't see your of calling the place an AIDS factory and depressing. Is it because you saw a few older guys? That's pretty lame. You're in a sauna, so what do you expect? And if you play it safe, you're fine. I've been a regular here for awhile and love this place. I find that the majority of the crowd here are generally bears/cubs/muscle bears, and the older guy looking for the younger dude and vice versa. If you're looking for guys your own age, you should try Sauna Centreville or Oasis and leave this place for those who know what they're looking for.

Hey Elwood65 : ACTUALLY it depends ON when you go, I went on a saturday night, and the place scared me, it was crowdy okay, but the place was depressing and the people even more, there were some hot guys indeed, but I mostly saw old men ... I will try and give the place another try during week days, I'll never go back on a saturday night, it seems like AIDS factory during the week-ends, very creepy peolple go there , BEWARE

HeyHellRaiser, it is definatley not a sauna to find a bunch of people your age. If you go during the day it is an older clientelle. I usually go at night and it can be a lot of fun, exspecially on Friday or Saturday.

This place is full of grand-pas ... really very old men beyond their 80,s go there ... also, the floor is very squeaky when you walk, very small in the inside, everybody's packed in like sardines in the sauna , WORST PLACE IS EVER ...

Just got back from the 5018, I booked an hour long massage with Robert he is fantastic I have been going to him for about 8 years now and I am never dissapointed well worth the money. After my massage I had some fun with a hot guy in the hot tub. There was some good looking guys there this afternoon, I think I will try my luck again tomorrow afternoon!
